Born in Liverpool, Matt studied in Edinburgh before moving to London in 2004.
After working as a Designer and Illustrator at a creative agency for brands including Nike, Nokia and Eley Kishimoto, Matt went on to lead the Graphic Design team at Liberty. Matt now works from his studio by the Thames.
Matt’s illustration style is influenced by his graphic design background, communicating ideas in a playful and direct way. His distinctive style is recognisable in its wit and topical observations. His work can currently be seen in his weekly spot in The Guardian.
